Falling in love right through autumn used to be never really easy thanks to this amazing recipe for honey-baked black mission figs with orange and ginger!

To make this dish, you’ll need:

  • 12 ripe Black Mission figs, stemmed and halved lengthwise;
  • 3 tablespoons of orange blossom honey;
  • 3 tablespoons of fresh orange juice;
  • 1/4 teaspoon of grated peeled fresh ginger;
  • 1/four teaspoon of vanilla extract;
  • 4 massive navel oranges, peeled and sectioned;
  • half of cup of heavy whipping cream;
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of superfine sugar;
  • 1 tablespoon of Grand Marnier or every other orange-flavored liqueur;
    and mint leaves if you would like.


Preheat the oven to 350° and arrange the fig halves, reduce facet down, in a single layer in an 8-inch square baking dish, up to now covered with cooking spray.
